About Prince Sultan University

Prince Sultan University (PSU) was originally founded in 1998 as the first private University in Saudi Arabia. PSU is a non-profit institution established in Riyadh by Al-Riyadh Philanthropic Society for Science and licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education to promote research in the University Community.

Renewable Energy Lab (REL) is established to conduct high quality research in the field of renewable and sustainable energy to meet the requirements of the society as per Saudi 2030 Vision. REL aims to provide academic support and scientific consultancy to the national and international industries.
